The position offers the successful candidate the opportunity to adopt a key role within a fast‑paced branch at Eyre and Elliston. The role of Supervisor is primarily to support the Branch Manager in all aspects of the branch including customer account management, stock control, supplier relations and administration. Candidates should be able to show leadership skills in a busy office environment and have both commercial and product experience gained from within the Electrical Wholesale Industry.
Responsibilities
- To ensure the smooth running of the branch in the absence of the Manager
- Workings closely with a large customer base, ensuring orders are completed accurately
- To increase the turnover and profit of the branch through the development of both existing and new customer accounts
- Calling on regular spending accounts, re‑contacting and re‑activating dormant accounts, plus cold calling potential new customers
- Assist on the trade counter
- Drive sales to reach sales targets
- Manage stock levels and ordering stock
