Working closely with the Director of Engineering, you will lead a highly skilled team, oversee the day-to-day engineering operation, and play a key role in delivering major projects while maintaining the impeccable standards expected of a world-renowned luxury property.

Responsibilities as the Deputy Director of Engineering…
- Deputising for the Director of Engineering and leading the department in their absence
- Managing the day-to-day operation of a 26-person engineering team, including four direct reports
- Driving exceptional standards across planned and reactive maintenance programmes
- Leading engineering projects, refurbishments and construction works while minimising disruption to hotel operations
- Ensuring full compliance with all statutory regulations, health and safety legislation, and company policies
- Supporting the development, mentoring and performance of the engineering management team
- Managing budgets, monitoring expenditure and identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency
- Working collaboratively with senior hotel leadership to deliver an outstanding guest experience through first‑class facilities management
