Overview

Year 5 Teaching Assistant – Southwark – 66-85 per day – Part Time (Mornings) – September Start – Primary School

Responsibilities

• Support a small group of Year 5 pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) within the classroom.
• Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver targeted interventions and learning activities.
• Encourage engagement with learning and provide tailored support to help pupils reach their potential.
• Work morning-only hours from 8:30am to 1:00pm.

Qualifications and Qualities

• Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs in a primary school setting.
• Patience, proactivity, and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Ability to work closely with teachers and SENCO to implement support plans and interventions.
