About the job

We’re looking for a proactive and detail‑driven Debt Recovery Executive to join our fast‑paced team. In this role, you’ll support the end‑to‑end debt recovery process, working closely with third‑party collection agencies and internal teams to maximise recovery across a large portfolio. You’ll also handle disconnection cases, manage back‑office inboxes, and ensure accurate data handling for reporting and customer information management.If you thrive in a dynamic environment, enjoy problem‑solving, and have a keen eye for detail, this is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare debt recovery requests and complete investigations working closely with third‑party collection agencies
  • Liaise with third‑party agencies and manage case queries/disputes
  • Review recovered payments, raise invoices, and support accurate allocation
  • Ensure all work follows company procedures
  • Complete investigations on accounts including Land Registry, Companies House and other areas
  • Be able to make decisions in a highly regulated area

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confident communicator with good admin skills
  • Able to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Numeric/analytical experience; proficient in Excel and Word
  • Team player; energy industry knowledge is a bonus

Working Pattern

In this role you will be able to work on a hybrid pattern, with Tues-Thurs in the office and Monday and Friday at home. Our standard office hours are 0830 – 1700, Monday to Friday.
