What You’ll Do
- Health, Safety, Environment & SecurityEnsure that all mechanical engineering work meets the highest safety, regulatory compliance, and security standards, incorporating safety principles, full hazard consideration, and export control requirements.
- Team Leadership & PerformanceLead and develop the Mechanical Engineering Team, promoting teamwork, ownership, and a collaborative environment across engineering disciplines.
- Technical SpecialistServe as a subject‑matter expert, providing guidance on mechanical integrity, design compliance, plant modifications, and technical investigations.
- Mechanical Engineering ExcellenceEnsure design compliance, provide technical direction to construction and commissioning teams, and continuously improve procedures, standards, and systems.
Qualifications and Experience
- Professional Engineer with extensive experience delivering mechanical design solutions on operational plants.
- Chartership desirable.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a chemical, nuclear, or similarly regulated industry.
- Proven experience on a Top Tier COMAH or nuclear licensed site.
- Broad understanding of mechanical equipment, technologies, and engineering principles.
- Strong experience working within multidisciplinary teams and managing inter‑disciplinary interfaces.
