Service Technician – Ossett Area

Salary:From £33,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Location: Ossett

Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 8:30am – 5:30pm
• Saturday: 8:30am – 12:30pm (With the potential to move to alternate Saturdays as staffing levels increase)

The Opportunity

Autotech Recruit arerecruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing automotive business in the Ossett area for an experienced Service Technician to join their busy workshop team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technician looking for a stable role within a supportive working environment, carrying out a mixture of vehicle servicing, repairs, and fast-fit work.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out vehicle servicing and routine maintenance
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults
• Performing fast-fit duties including tyres, brakes, exhausts, batteries, and suspension work
• Completing vehicle health checks and identifying additional work where required
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety procedures
• Delivering excellent customer service through quality workmanship

What We’re Looking For

• Level 2 NVQ/IMI (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair – essential
• Previous experience in a technician, service technician, or fast-fit technician role
• Strong servicing and maintenance experience
• Experience carrying out tyre fitting, brake work, and other fast-fit repairs
• Full UK driving licence
• A positive attitude and strong team-working skills
