About the role
Hours of work: 22.75 hours per week. 13.75 hours as a TA3 and 9 hours as a Wraparound Care Assistant. Working pattern: Part‑time, term‑time only (39 weeks of term work and 6.05 weeks of annual leave). Salary is pro rata.
Responsibilities
Deliver targeted intervention support, working closely with individuals and small groups of pupils to help them achieve their full potential. Adapt learning, track progress and support classroom teachers to meet the needs of all learners. Lead and support positive play experiences during lunchtime, creating a safe and inclusive environment and promoting the school values. Lead engaging and creative after‑school sessions as part of the Wraparound Care Assistant contract, ensuring children continue to experience our nurturing ethos beyond the classroom.
Qualifications
Skilled and enthusiastic TA3 with experience in teaching support. Speech and language experience is desirable but not essential. Must not be disqualified under the Childcare Disqualification Regulations 2018. Applicants must provide a self‑declaration confirming they are not disqualified.
