Job Description

As Founding CTO at silque, you will own the entire technical landscape from architecture to scaling the engineering team. Partnering with founders from elite finance and talent management backgrounds, you’ll build the software replacing manual workflows in the creator economy. This is a genuine co‑founder role with significant equity and strategic influence from day one.

Location

Why this role is remarkable

  • Join as a genuine co‑founder with significant equity and a seat at the top table, shaping company strategy from the ground up alongside experienced commercial founders.
  • Benefit from incredible early traction with an MVP already in use by leading UK consumer brands and celebrity labels like Kylie Jenner’s K2O.
  • Build the infrastructure for a fundamental shift in marketing, moving a multi‑billion dollar industry from manual spreadsheets to a scalable community‑driven software platform.

What You Will Do

  • Take full ownership of the technical architecture and end‑to‑end product development, evolving the existing MVP into a robust, scalable platform.
  • Recruit, lead, and mentor a world‑class engineering team as the company scales following its upcoming September funding round.
  • Drive the technical roadmap and collaborate closely with co‑founders to align product features with the needs of high‑profile creators and global brands.

The ideal candidate

  • Holds a strong Computer Science degree from a top‑tier institution like Imperial, Oxford, Cambridge, or an equivalent global university.
  • Proven experience shipping production systems at scale, ideally having led zero‑to‑one initiatives at big tech firms like Google or high‑growth startups.
  • Possesses the entrepreneurial drive to build from zero, comfortable operating with autonomy in a pre‑raise environment for meaningful long‑term ownership.
