Pest Control Technician – Reading
We are looking for a Pest Control Technician to join our team in Reading. Whether you already have experience or are looking to start a new, hands‑on career, this is a great opportunity to build practical skills while working in a role where no two days are the same. Full training is provided for those new to the industry, so we’re keen to hear from individuals with the right attitude, initiative, and work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Carry out inspections, treatments and preventative work
- Deliver a high standard of customer service
- Manage your own schedule and work independently day‑to‑day
- Use mobile apps to record visits and complete reports
- Identify opportunities to provide additional support or services
Salary & Earning Potential
- Up to £29,500 basic salary (depending on experience and qualifications)
- Plus up to £2,750 Regional Allowance
- Opportunity to earn up to an additional £6,000 through commission, leads, bonuses and incentives
- Trainee starting salary: £27,834.98
What We’re Looking For
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- A methodical, organised approach to work
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable using mobile phone apps
- Ideally located within a 40-mile radius of Reading
- Full UK Drivers licence
