Overview
VANRATH is partnering with a respected manufacturing organisation in Magherafelt to recruit an HR Officer. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and supportive HR team, playing a key role in delivering a professional HR service across the full employee lifecycle. Working closely with managers across the business, you’ll support people initiatives, ensure HR best practice and contribute to a positive workplace culture.

About You
- Previous experience in an HR Officer, HR Advisor or similar generalist HR role
- CIPD Level 5 qualified or working towards qualification is desirable
- Sound knowledge of HR policies, procedures and current employment legislation
- Experience supporting employee relations, absence management and performance processes
- Confident advising managers on day-to-day HR matters
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Able to manage a varied workload while maintaining confidentiality
What You’ll Do
- Provide day-to-day HR support and guidance to managers and employees
- Support the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and offboarding
- Assist with absence management, disciplinary, grievance and performance processes
- Maintain accurate HR records, employee documentation and HR systems
- Prepare HR reports and provide workforce data to support business decisions
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are applied consistently and in line with employment legislation
- Support learning and development initiatives and employee engagement activities
- Assist with HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Build strong working relationships across the business to promote a positive and compliant HR function
