We are currently recruiting for a KS2 Primary Teacher to join one of our fantastic partner primary schools in Barnsley. This role is ideal for a teacher with experience across Key Stage 2 who is passionate about delivering engaging lessons, raising attainment and helping pupils reach their full potential. The school welcomes applications from both full-time and part-time teachers.

Primary Teacher Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum.
  • Plan, prepare and assess learning to support pupil progress and attainment.
  • Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Adapt teaching to meet the needs of pupils of all abilities, including those with SEND.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents.
  • Follow school safeguarding, behaviour and curriculum policies at all times.
  • Work collaboratively as part of the wider school team to provide the best outcomes for pupils.

Primary Teacher Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching within a UK primary school, ideally in Key Stage 2.
  • Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
