Join Us as a Teaching Assistant Special Needs PMLD in an SEN SchoolWe are recruiting a SEN Teaching Assistant to work with students with PMLD. The role involves providing hands‑on support for complex learning, sensory, and physical needs, helping pupils access the curriculum and participate in daily activities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and ensure students continuously challenge themselves to improve.
• Establish and maintain standards of pupil behaviour to create an orderly and productive environment.
• Have a strong understanding of mental health challenges in children and adolescents.
• Implement strategies to support emotional well‑being.

Qualifications / Experience

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Be eligible for British QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
• Have proven classroom experience or relevant training.
