About the Role
Structural Engineer – Manchester City Centre – M1. The successful candidate will join an award‑winning, high‑profile structural engineering consultancy in central Manchester, on a mid‑level role for 2‑5 years of buildings design experience. This role offers exposure to architecturally challenging building projects, frequent client meetings, and collaboration with architects.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop structural solutions for a broad portfolio of building projects.
- Attend client meetings and liaise with architects to provide structural input and solutions.
- Prepare detailed drawings, calculations and specifications in accordance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with the design team to achieve innovative, award‑winning outcomes.
Qualifications
- 2–5 years’ experience in a UK‑based structural engineering consultancy with a focus on buildings design.
- Strong technical skills with proven design capability and a passion for innovative design.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Full support for Chartered Engineer chartership.
