Role Overview
We are currently looking to appoint a Registered Home Manager for our 5‑beded children’s residential home in Northamptonshire. Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you will oversee and manage the day‑to‑day running of the home with the support of the Deputy Manager. The home is currently rated “Good” with Ofsted. The role requires a natural leader who places the needs of children and young people at the heart of their work. Prior experience working with children, preferably in a residential setting, and a good understanding of Ofsted requirements, recruitment, staff training, supervisions, safeguarding, policies and procedures are essential.
What You’ll Bring
- QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare (or working towards)
- At least 2 years’ recent experience in a supervisory role within a Registered Children’s Home
- Proven managerial and leadership skills with a child‑centred approach
- Strong knowledge of children’s home regulations and legislation
- A positive track record with Ofsted inspections
- The ability to inspire a team and build trusted relationships with stakeholders
- Full UK Driving Licence
