Social Media Content Creator

The Role
We’re looking for a creative and driven Social Media Content Creator to own and elevate our social presence. You’ll be responsible for planning, creating, and delivering engaging content that reflects our brand, showcases our expertise, and connects with our community of runners.
Playing a key role in shaping how Run North West shows up across social platforms – you’ll bring our events, products, and people to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with brand partners to create collaborative content
- Plan and execute a consistent social media content calendar across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Strava, Facebook)
- Create high-quality, engaging content including video, photography, and written copy
- Capture content in-store, at events, and with the wider running community
- Develop creative concepts for campaigns, product launches, and brand activations
- Stay on top of social trends and adapt them to fit the Run North West brand
- Monitor performance and optimise content based on insights and analytics
- Engage with the community through comments, messages, and user-generated content
- Support wider marketing campaigns with social-first thinking
Skills & Experience
- Strong videography and photography skills (editing experience essential)
- A natural storyteller with a strong eye for detail and brand consistency
- Confident in front of and behind the camera
- Deep understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices
- Ability to work at pace and manage multiple projects
- Passion for running or the wider fitness industry is highly desirable
- Demonstrate curated content through personal or business channels
- Strong interest in fashion & trends
