Stores Operative / Yard Operative

Location: Worksop

Pay: Up to £16.00 per hour

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 6:00am – 4:30pm

Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent

The Role

As a Stores Operative, you will play a key role in supporting production by ensuring materials and stock are handled safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering parts and materials to production areas.
• Unloading deliveries and storing stock safely.
• Maintaining cleanliness across the yard, stores and site.
• Emptying production bins and supporting waste management activities.
• Assisting with vehicle movements around site following training.
• Ensuring all tasks are completed safely, efficiently and in line with Health & Safety procedures.

What We’re Looking For

• Valid Forklift Truck licence, including B2 category.
• Previous experience within a manufacturing, stores, goods‑in or despatch environment.
• Strong awareness of Health & Safety practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• A proactive, reliable and self‑motivated approach.
• Good problem‑solving skills with the ability to work to deadlines.
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding role.
