Workshop Technician – St Albans

We’re looking for a hands-on Workshop Technician to join a growing and friendly team in St Albans. If you enjoy working with electronics, building things, and being part of a supportive environment, this could be the role for you.

Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:00pm (Early finish every day)
Job Type
Full-time | Temp-to-Perm (Permanent and contract options available)
Salary
£25,000 – £27,500 (depending on experience)
Please note: Due to location and working hours, your own transport is required.
Key Responsibilities
This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same:
- Building cable assemblies and electronic components
- Soldering connectors, cables, and PCBs
- Assembling monitoring equipment and systems
- Testing and configuring electronic equipment
- Diagnosing and repairing faults
- Monitoring stock levels of key components
- Supporting production documentation (BOMs, instructions, etc.)
- Maintaining a clean and organised workshop

Desirable Skills and Experience
- Experience in electronics assembly or soldering
