BIM Technician MEP

About the Role:We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MEP BIM Coordinator to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about digital construction, coordination, and delivering high-quality building services models across a range of projects.

As an MEP BIM Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the effective coordination of mechanical, electrical, and public health systems within a BIM environment. You will work closely with design teams, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve clashes, maintain model integrity, and support project delivery from design through to construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, manage, and coordinate MEP BIM models using industry-standard software
• Perform clash detection and coordinate resolutions across disciplines
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and external consultants
• Ensure BIM standards, protocols, and project requirements are met
• Produce coordinated drawings, schedules, and reports
• Support BIM implementation and continuous improvement initiatives
• Attend coordination meetings and communicate technical solutions effectively

Requirements:

• Proven experience in an MEP BIM Coordinator or similar role
• Strong proficiency in tools such as Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360 / ACC
• Good understanding of MEP systems and construction processes
• Experience with clash detection and model coordination workflows
• Knowledge of BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650) is desirable
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable:

• Experience on large-scale or multidisciplinary projects
• Familiarity with Dynamo or other automation tools
• Relevant qualifications in engineering, construction, or BIM
