Reporting to the Assistant Credit Control Manager, you willbe responsible forprocessing accounts within the litigation department and liaise with our debt collection partners.
Responsibilities
- Actioning accounts through litigation process as required in line with agreed processes
- Release orders where applicable
- Responsible for updating of the accounts held by High Court Enforcement Officers and other third-party enforcement agents as required
- Maintenance of the bad debt provision, ensuring leger balances are accurate, and that up-to-date commentary is maintained
- Submission of insurance and insolvency claims as required in line with policy requirements
- Dealing with incoming queries in a professionaltimelymanner
Qualifications
- Demonstrates a sound knowledge of debt collection including a variety of techniques which may be used.
- Can negotiate with customers to bring a satisfactory outcome to all parties in difficult circumstances.
- Can demonstrate an empathetic approach when needed.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
