Graduate ASIC Verification Engineer

Built on advanced capability-based architecture research, the company is already collaborating with several of the world’s leading technology organisations.
I am looking for a talented Graduate ASIC Verification Engineer to join a growing verification team. You will work alongside experienced engineers to ensure the functional correctness and quality of complex digital designs used in next-generation semiconductor products.
This role is suited to graduates with strong digital design and verification knowledge, excellent academic performance, and relevant industry experience through internships or placements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain verification environments for digital and ASIC designs
- Write SystemVerilog/UVM testbenches to verify RTL functionality
- Create directed and constrained-random tests
- Run simulations, analyse results, and debug failures
- Contribute to coverage-driven verification strategies
- Work closely with design engineers to resolve functional bugs
- Participate in design and verification reviews
- Document verification plans, test results, and coverage metrics
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline
- First Class or Upper Second Class (2:1) degree from a top engineering university
- Minimum 12 months of relevant internship or industrial placement experience
- Strong understanding of digital logic design and computer architecture
- Knowledge of HDL languages (SystemVerilog, Verilog, or VHDL)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
Desirable Skills
- Experience with SystemVerilog verification and UVM – through internship
- Exposure to coverage-driven verification methodologies
- Familiarity with EDA tools (Synopsys VCS, Cadence Xcelium, Siemens Questa)
- Knowledge of Python, Tcl, or scripting for verification automation
- Understanding of ASIC design flows
- Enthusiasm for semiconductor design and verification
