The Royal Air Force Museum is a national museum, a Government non‑departmental public body (NDPB) and a registered charity. We have two public sites in the Midlands and London and a stored collection at Stafford. Our purpose is to share the RAF story – past, present and future – using the stories of its people and our collections to engage, inform and inspire.

What We Are Looking For
The Royal Air Force Museum is recruiting for the role of Assistant Curator – Visual Media and Archives based at our London site and working across our Visual Media and Archive collections. This will be a permanent appointment.
Responsibilities
- Document, catalogue and research the Collections.
- Answer requests for information received from Museum colleagues and external enquires.
- Support the development of content for use in our exhibitions and create content for our audiences.
- Travel between sites and to other locations as required.
Reporting
The post is based at our London site. You will report to the Curator of Photographs and work closely with the wider Curatorial and Exhibition teams on projects across all our sites.
