Responsibilities

• Serve customers on the trade counter, understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations and quotations.
• Respond to customer enquiries via phone and email, providing quotes promptly and courteously with a proactive attitude.
• Carry out general warehouse duties, including booking incoming stock into the system, putting it away, and picking and packing customer orders.
• Manually handle heavy items such as boilers, radiators, toilets, and sinks.

Working Hours & Schedule

This is a full‑time permanent role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with alternating shifts of 07:30–16:30 and 08:00–17:00. A Saturday a month is scheduled from 08:00–12:00, paid as overtime.

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous face‑to‑face sales and customer service experience.
• Confident communication with customers.
• Team player who is happy to assist in all areas to ensure the smooth running of the branch.
• Eager to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and a strong work ethic.
• Comfortable lifting heavy items.
