Electrical Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a specialist engineering team operating within a high-profile, semi-critical facility in North London. This is a role for someone who enjoys technical challenges, takes pride in delivering high standards, and wants to work on infrastructure where attention to detail genuinely matters.

You’ll become part of ateam responsible for maintaining a diverse range of critical building services systems, ensuring operational continuity and supporting a facility where downtime simply isn’t an option.

What you’ll be doing:

• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of electrical and associated building services systems.
• Diagnosing faults and delivering effective repairs to minimise disruption and maintain operational performance.
• Working on critical and semi-critical infrastructure, including LV electrical systems, UPS equipment, generators, switchgear and emergency systems.
• Supporting plant inspections, statutory compliance activities and operational checks.
• Managing permits to work, isolations and safe systems of work.
• Collaborating with specialist contractors and engineering colleagues to deliver maintenance activities safely and efficiently.
• Maintaining accurate records through CAFM systems and ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.

We’re keen to speak with engineers who have:

• A recognised electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Current 18th Edition certification.
• Experience working within critical, semi-critical or technically complex environments.
• Strong electrical fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
• A good understanding of health and safety procedures and permit systems.
