CAD Engineer (Nuclear)

Rate: c40.00 per hour (Outside IR35) Location: Bristol (Hybrid) Contract: Initial 12-month contract Start: ASAP

The Opportunity

We are recruiting for 2 experienced CAD Engineer’s to support the delivery of major UK nuclear projects. Working within a multidisciplinary engineering team, you’ll be responsible for producing and coordinating high-quality 3D design models for complex electrical installation and cable routing packages using AVEVA E3D.

Responsibilities

• Produce and develop detailed 3D models using AVEVA E3D.

• Design and coordinate cable routing and cable tray layouts within a multidisciplinary BIM environment.

• Ensure designs comply with project, quality and nuclear industry standards.

• Resolve design clashes and work closely with engineering teams to deliver practical solutions.

• Support design reviews and provide technical input throughout project delivery.

Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience as a CAD Engineer within the nuclear industry (essential).

• Strong working knowledge of AVEVA E3D (essential).

• Experience producing complex 3D design models for electrical or multidisciplinary engineering projects.

• Understanding of cable routing, cable tray layouts and BIM coordination.

• Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary project teams.
