We are currently recruiting enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work within welcoming and well-managed secondary schools in Southeast London. This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced support staff looking to gain valuable classroom experience and develop their career within education.
The Role:As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning during teacher absences by delivering pre-planned lessons and ensuring students remain engaged and focused throughout the day.
Responsibilities Include:Delivering pre-set lessons in the absence of the classroom teacherManaging classroom behaviour in line with school policiesEnsuring students stay on task and engaged with their learningProviding feedback to teaching staff following lessonsSupporting a positive, inclusive, and respectful learning environmentBuilding positive relationships with students and staff
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:Previous experience working with young people (school-based experience desirable)A confident classroom presence and ability to lead a groupExcellent communication and organisational skillsA proactive, adaptable, and positive attitudeA genuine passion for education and supporting student progress
