Position: Depot Manager
Location: Bristol
Salary: Up to £57,000 + Company Car + Performance Bonus (10% of base salary)
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm (39 hours)

Depot Manager Opportunity

We’re looking for a motivated and experienced HGV Depot Manager to take charge of our busy Bristol depot and drive operational excellence in a thriving, growing business. Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day workshop operations, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
- Lead, motivate, and develop your team – driving performance and continuous improvement.
- Maintain strong client relationships and act as the go-to contact for service and operational issues.
- Deliver on key performance metrics including productivity, compliance, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
- Oversee resource planning, workshop scheduling, and cost control.
- Ensure full compliance with all Health & Safety, DVSA, and industry standards.
- Report on branch performance and contribute to wider business planning.
Experience and qualifications
- Proven experience in a management or supervisory role within an HGV or commercial vehicle workshop.
- Strong technical understanding of HGV maintenance and compliance.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- A proactive, customer-first approach and commercial mindset.
- Confident with IT systems and workshop management software.
- Full UK driving licence (HGV licence advantageous but not essential).
