Manufacturing Services Engineer – Bristol
Overview
As a Manufacturing Services Engineer at Rolls‑Royce, you will support the Manufacturing Services organisation across the company, ensuring that operational objectives and goals are met while delivering continual improvement.
Responsibilities
You will work with Manufacturing Service Leaders (MSLs) or equivalent to ensure organisational objectives and goals are delivered. Additionally, you will:
- Identify and develop opportunities for improvements, including analysis of machine‑tool reliability and OEM/Contractor spend.
- Support external Service Provider partnerships and in‑house service lines to meet business requirements.
- Follow and implement national safety standards and company standards; may act as Responsible Person (RP) or Deputy RP.
- Develop and implement Energy Management plans, strategies and initiatives for Manufacturing Services at cell and plant level.
- Take control of Fixture Care, develop the service for the business, and ensure service providers are monitored against agreed performance levels.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in maintenance engineering.
- Good understanding of HSE requirements.
- Proven track record delivering business results.
- Strong communication skills and a focus on personal development.
- Collaborative working style with stakeholders at all levels.
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to solve complex problems while maintaining customer focus.
- Experience influencing at all levels across an organisation.
