My client is a top ranked, technology-driven financial firm that pushes tech to the limits. The company is run by Computer Scientists and Olympiad winning mathematicians. They are widely considered as using some of the best tech out there, attracting some of the brightest minds!
They are hiring for a Desktop Engineer to take on a senior role with the potential of managing a global team of 12-15 engineers whilst remaining somewhat hands on. You would be supporting a low latency trading environment in a complex infrastructure which is heavily automated, giving you the chance to work on some very cool projects!
Responsibilities
- Plan, execute and support company wide tech projects
- General tech/desktop support
- Managing incidents through service now
- Work with external vendors
- Oversee the Enrolment of new starters/desk build
Qualifications
- Proficient using PowerShell for automation – ESSENTIAL
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Productive hard worker, with a great personality!
