Job Role: Flutter Developer

About the Job: We are seeking an experienced Flutter Developer with strong expertise in the Banking domain who will oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects.
Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of company offices, client sites, and your home, noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
Your Role: We are looking for an experienced Flutter Developer and this role requires building high‑performance, secure banking applications implementing state management and ensuring compliance with strict financial cybersecurity standards.
Your Skills
- Expert proficiency in Flutter/Dart combined with a solid foundational knowledge of Native Android (Java/Kotlin) or iOS (Swift).
- Architecture: strong understanding of architectural patterns like BLoC, Provider, or Riverpod.
- API Integration: hands‑on experience integrating RESTful APIs and JSON.
- Security Testing: familiarity with secure coding practices, data encryption in transit, and writing unit and widget tests.
- Tools & Pipelines: experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Bitrise, Jenkins) and familiarity with Agile methodologies (Jira).
Key Responsibilities
- UI/UX Implementation: translating complex Figma UI designs into responsive pixel‑perfect layouts.
- Performance Optimization: identifying memory leaks and ensuring smooth 60fps animations.
- Collaboration: working closely with backend engineers, UI/UX designers, and product managers to deliver secure financial features.
- Compliance: adhering to Barclays strict cybersecurity policies and SOX compliance requirements.
