Overview

Location: Birmingham, AL (in office)  Type: Full-timeDepartment: OperationsReports to: Head of PeopleComp: $50,000 – $55,000

The role:

You’ll provide direct support to senior leadership — calendars, inboxes, travel, and the hundred small things that keep the day moving smoothly. You’ll also own the day-to-day operations of our Birmingham HQ and our data center facilities nearby. This is a high-trust, high-context role where no two days look the same.

Responsibilities

  • Own executive calendaring, inbox management, and travel logistics end to end
  • Anticipate needs before they become asks — prep for meetings, flag conflicts, keep things moving
  • Manage our HQ office — supplies, vendors, visitors, making sure the space runs and feels welcoming and efficient
  • Oversee operations at our data center facilities — coordinating access, maintenance, and anything that comes up
  • Handle sensitive information with discretion and good judgment

Qualifications

  • Are a natural organizer who thrives in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
  • Have supported senior leaders before and know what “inbox zero” actually takes
  • Can context-switch quickly without dropping things
  • Are detail-obsessed but don’t lose sight of the bigger picture
  • Communicate clearly, move fast, and don’t need hand-holding
  • Have experience at a startup or high-growth company
  • Are familiar with tools like Google Workspace, Slack, Notion
  • Have facilities or office management experience across multiple locations
