Kingsmen Talent Solutions are supporting a global consultancy delivering a major UK government programme, and we are looking for an experienced Cyber Security Architect to join on an initial 3-month contract.
The Role
You will be responsible for reviewing cloud tenant designs and ensuring environments meet strict security, compliance, and architecture standards before onboarding. This role involves working closely with security teams and technical architects to identify risks, strengthen security controls, and ensure platforms are built securely from day one.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and assess cloud tenant architectures against security policies and best practice
- Identify security gaps and recommend improvements to proposed designs
- Collaborate with client security teams and architects to align on security requirements
- Lead security design discussions and reviews with key stakeholders
- Ensure platforms meet required security frameworks and compliance standards
- Support secure onboarding by validating that environments meet security baselines
- Conduct threat modelling and risk assessments for new tenants
- Maintain clear security architecture documentation and reporting
Skills & Experience
- Strong background in Cyber Security Architecture within enterprise environments
- Experience securing Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms
- Knowledge of multi-tenant cloud environments
- Familiarity with frameworks such as Zero Trust, NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS benchmarks
- Strong understanding of identity & access management, network security, encryption, and secure onboarding
- NPPV clearance is desirable
