Many of the young people we work with need a little extra help, a friendly face, and someone who believes in them. As a tutor, you’ll be providing 1:1 support that can transform a child’s confidence, help them reconnect with learning, and open doors to a brighter future. Its meaningful work and incredibly rewarding.

Position Details

• Position: 1:1 Tutor
• Start date: ASAP
• End date: Ongoing, open-ended
• Area: WF3
• Working hours: Flexible; 5-20 hours per week.
• Pay Rate: GBP20 – GBP30 per hour

Responsibilities

• Providing 1:1 support to children to build confidence and facilitate learning.
• Helping students reconnect with learning through personalized sessions.
• Using a variety of activities, games, and approaches to engage learners.
• Monitoring student progress and adapting teaching methods as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in teaching or tutoring is ideal.
• Caring, patient, and able to make learning feel positive.
• Strong empathy and enthusiasm.
