Up to £55,000 (including £4,500 car allowance) Monday-Friday | 36 hours per week We are recruiting on behalf of a major infrastructure organisation for two Project Engineers (Fire Alarm Systems) to oversee fire alarm compliance and project delivery across operational commercial sites in South London. This is a project-focused position responsible for managing fire alarm assessments, contractor performance, and full lifecycle project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Conduct fire alarm system assessments in line with BS 5839-1
- Carry out site inspections and review contractor workmanship
- Produce technical reports and photographic evidence
- Develop scopes of work and technical specifications
- Oversee Health & Safety compliance across your projects
- Review tenders and support financial and programme management
- Provide technical guidance to stakeholders
- Ensure asset data and project records are accurately captured
- Perform mobile role requiring regular travel between sites
Qualifications
- Experience in a technical or commercial engineering environment
- Strong understanding of fire alarm systems and standards
- Comfortable managing contractors and working independently
- Organised, proactive and confident dealing with stakeholders
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle required
