Fire & Security Project Engineer – London – £47,000–£52,000 + overtime. Permanent position with a well-established fire and security solutions provider based in London. The role involves managing and supporting fire and security projects from inception through to completion.

Role & Responsibilities
- Managing and supporting the delivery of fire and security system projects across London
- Coordinating installation, commissioning, and handover of fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and intruder systems
- Working closely with Project Managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution
- Reviewing project specifications, drawings, and technical documentation
- Ensuring all works are delivered in line with BS 5839 and relevant industry standards
- Carrying out site surveys, progress checks, and technical support visits
- Overseeing commissioning activities and system integration works
- Producing and completing project documentation, O&M manuals, and handover packs
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality
Skills & Experience
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Previous experience in Fire & Security, Fire Alarm, or Security Systems Engineering
- Strong understanding of fire alarm and electronic security systems
- Experience across multiple disciplines (fire alarms, CCTV, access control, intruder alarms)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- FIA, CSCS/ECS, IPAF, or similar certifications (desirable)
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to manage multiple projects
