Sales Engineer – Water & Wastewater, South East England

Aire Search is thrilled to partner with an industry-leading company to recruit a dynamic Sales Engineer focusing on the UK water infrastructure market, based in the South East of England.

Key Responsibilities:

– Market Promotion:

– Advocate for our client’s systems within the UK water industry to companies, designers, contractors, and distributors.

– Stakeholder Engagement:

– Collaborate with owners and consultants to integrate solutions into project specifications.

– Contractor Collaboration:

– Partner with contractors to incorporate systems in project planning and construction.

– Proposal Development:

– Lead the creation of proposals for alternative pipe build strategies.

– Industry Advocacy:

– Raise brand awareness through seminars, training, and design support.

– Thought Leadership:

– Participate in industry organizations and events to establish thought leadership.

– On-Site Support:

– Visit job sites to provide contractor training and support product installation.

– Team Coordination:

– Collaborate with sales colleagues within the region.

About You:

– Qualifications:

– Degree in civil, mechanical, or piping engineering, or a related field.

– Experience:

– 5+ years in the UK water market with engineering or construction experience.

– Knowledge:

– Familiar with the mechanical piping business or ability to quickly learn.

– Attributes:

– Result-driven, excellent communicator, and adept at networking.

– Travel:

– Willing to travel up to 40% and attend after-hours events.
