We specialise in geo environmental support for complex infrastructure developments and operations. We have successfully supported our clients in delivering sustainable projects in sectors including energy, industry, restoration projects, residential and port redevelopment.
Due to continued growth in a variety of markets including onshore redevelopment we are looking to grow our team.
Job Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic, optimistic, conscientious and talented person with excellent communication skills and technical ability in relation to the detailed geo environmental assessment reports for human health and controlled waters.
About You
You will hold a degree in geology, engineering geology or a relevant environmental science discipline. It is also required that you have a full, preferably clean, driving licence.
Qualifications
- Experience in the delivery and writing of geo environmental desk based studies (preliminary environmental risk assessments) and generic quantitative risk assessments to a high standard.
- A thorough working knowledge of the Thomas Telford Specification for Ground Investigation version 2 and version 3 (the Yellow Book).
- Experience in supervising and managing ground investigation including soil and rock logging and gas and groundwater sampling and monitoring in contaminated land.
- An excellent understanding of regulatory and legal requirements in relation to contaminated land.
- Experience in dealing with the planning process in relation to contaminated land.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, organisational, analytical and time management skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
