Overview

Are you looking to kickstart a career in data and AI? The Frontier AI Programme at Digital Futures is designed to equip people from all backgrounds with the skills, confidence, and mindset to launch a successful career in technology.

The Frontier AI Programme combines structured learning, industry certifications, and applied project experience into a single journey. It has been designed to equip participants with the most relevant technical and professional skills to enter the fields of data and AI, ready to build solutions and make impact for the world’s leading companies.

Programme Steps

  1. Immersive Training

Your journey begins with 12 weeks of free full‑time training led by our expert instructors. We’ll equip you with the essential technical and consulting skills you need to thrive in your first data and AI role. The training covers the following modules:

    • AI & Data Essentials
    • Programmatic Data Wrangling
  2. Graduation

As part of your graduation from the Academy, you’ll achieve two industry‑recognised certifications. All trainees will be required to achieve:

    • Certified Data Analyst with Python (PCAD) | Python Institute

The cost of your certifications will be covered by Digital Futures. To graduate, you will also need to pass all the challenges set by your instructor across the training and you will need to complete a competency interview with a member of our team.

  3. Employment

Once you graduate, we’ll work with you to deploy you into your first data and AI role with one of our clients. You’ll need to interview with our clients to secure your role, but our Delivery Team will be there to support you through that process. Once you interview successfully, you’ll become a permanent employee of Digital Futures ready for deployment to client site as a Consultant. There are several different role types that you could be deployed into which include but are not limited to:

After completing your first deployment, we will aim to place you in a new, more senior position with a different organisation, following standard consultancy practice.

  • Final Interview: In our final interview, you’ll get the opportunity to meet one of our instructors and demonstrate your technical knowledge.

The programme is open to people from all backgrounds. You don’t need any formal experience or background in tech to apply. While we encourage you to have done some self‑study in Python coding, our most successful applicants demonstrate four key traits:
