Data Analyst
Office – 5 days a week in London Bridge
Salary – up to £55/60k
We’re looking for an experienced data analyst with strong technical skills to join a small, fast‑moving team building and using cutting‑edge data tools in support of real‑world investigations. This is a hands‑on, embedded role — you’ll work directly alongside researchers, translating complex data into actionable insight, while helping shape the tools that power that work.
The role
You’ll act as the primary interface between a technical data team and the researchers who depend on it. Day‑to‑day, that means sourcing, analysing and interpreting data to support live investigations, drawing on an existing knowledge base and toolset, and reaching further when new techniques or datasets are needed.
You’ll also train colleagues to get more out of the tools available, identify new datasets and analytical approaches worth integrating, and feed researcher needs back into the technical roadmap.
What you’ll bring
Essential
- At least three years of experience as an OSINT/ Data analyst (or equivalent intelligence discipline)
- Deep, demonstrable knowledge of the publicly available OSINT data landscape (open‑source intelligence)
- Proficiency in Python for scripting and data processing
- Experience working with large datasets specifically within geospatial data
- Hands‑on experience with GIS tools (QGIS, ESRI, Felt or similar)
Nice to have
- Experience with Neo4j or another graph database
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL or BigQuery
- Experience with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau or Power BI
This is a London office‑based role. If you have a background in OSINT and want to apply your technical skills in a fast‑paced environment working on meaningful investigations, we’d like to hear from you.
