Overview
Talented People are hiring for a HR Team Lead on behalf of an expert in their industry with a large UK presence. This role will be managing a team of HR Advisors ensuring employee relations are held to a high standard, working on HR projects and managing the day to day of team operations while getting involved in higher level cases.
Location: 1 day in the office and 4 at homeSalary: £44,500 per annum
To be successful in this role you will need strong ER experience where you have managed a range of cases and ideally management experience however, this isn’t essential. The main thing is that you have strong HR advisory experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of HR Advisor
- Allocate work load
- Support escalation of complex HR queries
- Provide support to other departments as and when needed
- Ensure compliance with UK employment legislation in all ER matters
- Support Managers, Heads of and Directors
- Develop and review ER policies and procedures in line with legislative updates
- Work with external stakeholders where necessary
- Produce monthly board reports and ad-hoc people data reports
- Ensure project deadlines are maintenance and on going development is implemented
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience handling complex and high-risk employee relations cases within a large organisation
- Excellent knowledge of UK employment law and ER best practice
- Confident stakeholder management skills, including working with senior leaders
- Excellent report writing and analytical skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment
- Willingness to travel when required
