The Role & Training Programme

From September, you will:

  • Begin as a Graduate Trainee Teacher (Nutrition / Food Tech)

  • Support lessons across KS3 and KS4 Food Technology & Nutrition

  • Deliver small group sessions focused on healthy lifestyles, diet, and wellbeing

  • Assist with practical lessons in food preparation, safety, and nutrition science

  • Progress into planning and delivering your own lessons

  • Receive weekly coaching, mentoring, and structured CPD

You will develop into a confident teacher able to deliver both the practical and theoretical elements of this increasingly important subject.

Who We’re Looking For

  • A Sport Science, Nutrition, Health Science or related degree (minimum 2:2) from a UK University

  • Strong interest in health, wellbeing, and education

  • A desire to train as a teacher and build a long-term career in schools

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate young people

  • A proactive, energetic and committed mindset
