Job Description:

As a Contractor Care Manager within Next Ventures’ Legal Team, reporting to the Head of Contracts & Compliance, you will manage the legal, compliance, and operational lifecycle of contractors within your portfolio.

Working closely with Sales Consultants, Sales Directors, and Back Office teams (Pay & Bill, Credit Control and Accounting), you will ensure contractors receive a high-quality experience while maintaining strong legal and compliance standards. This is a 360 role combining compliance expertise, relationship management, and commercial awareness within a fast-paced global recruitment business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end contractor lifecycle, from onboarding through to assignment completion.
  • Act as the primary contact for contractors and Sales Consultants on legal, compliance, and operational matters.
  • Build strong working relationships with consultants and Sales Directors.
  • Collaborate with Pay & Bill, Credit Control and Accounting teams to ensure accurate contract setup, invoicing, and resolution of payment queries.
  • Maintain accurate contractor data and produce regular reporting and forecasts for senior stakeholders and Board updates.
  • Support process improvements, new tools, and system integrations across Legal and Accounts.
  • Monitor regulatory and compliance changes and ensure company documentation remains aligned with current legislation.

Qualifications

  • BA / BS / LLB from a leading university.
  • Experience in a legal, compliance, or contract-focused role.
  • Exposure to contract recruitment compliance (desirable).
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to balance risk with business needs.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities.
  • Strong ownership and accountability for workload and outcomes.

Technical Skills

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience with Timesheet Portal or similar accounting systems is advantageous.
