Estelle Manor is a rural retreat set on an 85-acre estate in Oxfordshire. The manor has four restaurants, an extraordinary 3,000 sq metre Roman-inspired spa- Eynsham Baths, 108 bedrooms and a gym with class studios and padel courts. Plus, there’s a kids’ club for the little ones and a workspace.

The Glasshouse – Estelle Manor

Set within our stunning Walled Garden, The Glasshouse is a vibrant, all-day dining destination where seasonal British classics meet the freshness of estate-grown produce. Surrounded by lush greenery, this unique greenhouse restaurant offers a relaxed yet refined experience, celebrating ingredients grown just steps from the kitchen.

From hearty favourites like beer-battered haddock to fresh, colourful salads and our much-loved Dhaba Estelle Indian dishes, the menu is designed to be both comforting and full of flavour. With a family and dog-friendly atmosphere, curated wines, Champagne by the glass and a lively, welcoming feel, The Glasshouse is a true hub of the estate.

The Role

As General Manager, you will lead from the front, bringing energy, warmth and excellence to every part of the guest experience. You will inspire and develop your front of house team, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations while consistently exceeding expectations.

Working closely with the F&B senior leadership team, you will help shape and deliver the vision for The Glasshouse. You will take full ownership of the restaurant’s performance, from team leadership and culture to financials, reporting, and operational standards, ensuring the restaurant continues to thrive as one of Estelle Manor’s most loved dining experiences.

The on-target earning potential for this role is £59,560 per annum OTE, comprising a base salary of £45,000 plus a qualified estimate of £12,000-£15,000 in gratuities and service charge*.

Who we are looking for?

  • Previous experience in a fast paced, luxury F&B outlet or restaurant.
  • Excellent communication skills and comfortable talking to colleagues, senior management and being front of house building relationships with our members and guests.
  • A team orientated, positive, driven, organised and solution focused leader.
  • Experience managing the daily operations, set up, standards, operating procedures.
  • Confident in building and fostering team spirit, allowing our colleagues to bring the best of themselves to work.
  • Someone who takes responsibility and initiative to explore issues and to generate new ideas with creative thinking.
