Job Description:

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of freight and warehouse processes, delivering excellent service to customers while maintaining high standards of accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. You will be responsible for coordinating dispatch activities, managing stock records, supporting customer accounts, and ensuring all operational processes run effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain high standards of Quality, Health & Safety, professionalism, and compliance with company policies
  • Represent the business in a professional and positive manner at all times
  • Prepare manual and scanned entry packing lists
  • Prepare customer orders for dispatch
  • Complete weekly stock checks and inventory reporting
  • Ensure all customer orders are accurately processed and booked
  • Manage customer-specific requirements and provide excellent account support
  • Produce and send packing lists to customers and update internal systems where required
  • Maintain accurate customer records and ensure effective communication at all times
  • Arrange deliveries for storage accounts
  • Create monthly invoices for storage accounts
  • Record stock locations and work closely with warehouse teams to ensure correct stock placement
  • Support and manage key customer accounts where required
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs

Due to continued international growth, we are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join a busy and dynamic Land Freight Team based in Manchester.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience within logistics, freight, or warehouse operations
  • Strong understanding of logistics processes and operational procedures
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills
  • High attention to detail and strong accuracy levels
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work efficiently under pressure
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm (inclusive of a 1‑hour unpaid lunch break). 40 hours per week. Flexible working patterns may be considered.
