HCB Widdows Mason is excited to announce an opportunity for a strategic and talented Head of Property to lead our Bristol Property Team. This key position requires an individual with a robust background in property law, exceptional leadership capabilities, and a passion for developing client relationships and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Heading the property team in Bristol, managing and mentoring
  • Overseeing a diverse workload encompassing residential property transactions and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, estate agents, and other stakeholders
  • Driving the growth and development of the property practice through effective business development strategies
  • Providing expert legal advice and support to clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction
  • Implementing best practices to enhance operational efficiency within the department
  • Managing departmental budgets, financial performance, and resource allocation
  • Staying updated with market trends and maintaining a proactive approach to evolving legal issues in property law

Requirements

  • Qualified solicitor with significant experience in property law, preferably at a senior level
  • Proven track record in managing a successful property team or department
  • Excellent leadership, management, and mentorship skills
  • Strong business development acumen and client relationship management experience
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle complex legal issues with a client-focused approach
  • Keen understanding of residential and commercial property markets
  • Proficiency in case management systems and relevant legal software
