GlobalForce Resource Ltd. is working in partnership with a leading Volvo Dealership in Australia to recruit Volvo HGV/Truck/Bus Mechanics. If you are a qualified and experienced HGV/Truck/Bus Technician with experience working within a Volvo dealership and are considering relocating, this could be your opportunity to secure a position with a leading Volvo dealership and have a clear pathway to gaining residency in Australia. Experience working in a DAF, Mercedes, MAN or Scania dealership workshop will also be considered. As will candidates who have experience working in a major fleet workshop.
Trade Certificate in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics or equivalent Ideally suited to a HGV/Truck mechanic working in a Volvo dealership. Experience working in a DAF, Mercedes, MAN or Scania dealership workshop will also be considered. As will candidates who have experience working in a major fleet workshop. Understanding of quality controls Embrace training and professional development opportunities for continuing improvement. Diagnose, Repair and Maintenance of trucks. Performing routine maintenance on vehicles, determining when and what kind of work is required. To keep your work knowledge of vehicles up to date and to be able to carry out servicing, repairs, adjusting, and testing machines, devices, moving parts and equipment. Make full use of service manuals and specialist tools. Attend and apply all required safety training Manage risk and compliance in area, including ongoing identification of material risks Monitor and ensure adequate risk management and compliance processes are in place Ensure the senior management and your team have a good understanding of the materials risk Implement and manage controls to manage risk Promote a company-wide risk aware culture
