Job Title: Residential Property Lawyer / Fee Earner

Location: Oakham (hybrid working available after probation)

Salary: £36,000 – £48,000 (DOE)

Role Summary:

This role supports the Head of Residential Property in managing a varied caseload of high-end residential transactions. You’ll join a friendly, open-plan office where collaboration and professional development are encouraged. After a short initial period, the firm offers hybrid flexibility, allowing you to balance office and home working effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse residential caseload – from freehold and leasehold sales to purchases and remortgages
  • Deliver a bespoke, one-to-one service – ensuring clients receive clear, consistent communication
  • Support the Head of Department – helping to manage workflow across the expanding team
  • Contribute to business development and marketing activity – reinforcing the firm’s local presence
  • Work closely with administrative support – ensuring smooth post-completion and file management processes

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive (CILEX), Licensed Conveyancer (CLC), or experienced non-qualified fee earner
  • Proven background in residential conveyancing, ideally including both second-hand and new build work
  • Strong client care focus and ability to handle matters autonomously
  • Team-oriented approach with a willingness to work in-office most of the time
