To support the Research Governance Manager and Research Governance Officer to provide a comprehensive and full ranging administration within the Research, Development and Innovation. Working in conjunction with colleagues, service users and stakeholders to provide an efficient service.

Main Duties, Tasks & Skills Required
The post provides administrative support for the R&D Data Governance team across all UHB sites. From the day to day running of the Data Governance team, such as scheduling meetings for internal and external parties (including commercial partners), supporting with the research governance reviews and oversight of data research projects, minute taking of meetings, administrative duties related to the day-to-day running of the service and diary management.

Qualifications
Essential
- Good General Education (e.g., GCSE English and Maths A-C GCSE LEVEL 9-4
- Knowledge to NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent, plus additional knowledge acquired through experience or completion of short courses to diploma level
Experience
Essential
- Experience of managing quality policies, processes, procedures and work instructions
- Able to use own initiative and deal with the unpredictable
- Able to work under pressure and to multi-task
- Able to work to deadlines
- Experience of supporting/managing the delivery of projects
- Previous experience of transcribing formal minutes
- Knowledge of dealing with non-routine issues such as problem solving for an area of work
Desirable
- Experience of working in a busy environment
- Experience of working in healthcare
- Experience of using Trust IT systems
- Experience of using incident management systems i.e. Datix, Radar
- Experience of using databases for recording information.
