Head Veterinary Surgeon – Small Animal Practice

Location: LincolnSalary: £75,000–£90,000 DOEHours: 39 hours over 4 days | 1 in 4 weekends | No out‑of‑hours duties

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head Veterinary Surgeon to lead a thriving, well‑respected independent small animal practice in Lincoln. The role is ideal for a passionate and clinically accomplished Head Vet looking to drive clinical excellence, inspire a talented team, and shape the future direction of a modern, forward‑thinking surgery.

The Role – Head Vet

The successful candidate will join the senior management team, playing a pivotal role in shaping clinical standards, mentoring colleagues, and delivering a strategic vision focused on gold‑standard, evidence‑based veterinary care.

This is a 4‑day working week (39 hours) with a 1:4 weekend rota. There are no out‑of‑hours requirements, though the Head Vet will provide on‑call support for overnight inpatients when required.
