What will I do?
- Responsible for all aspects ofthe IT network and technical security function across the group
- Lead on information risk, cybersecurity, internal network security and compliance, and communication with ICO
- Project manage any newsoftware, upgrades, configuration, or implementation projects through theirfull project life cycle
- Development of a framework ofpolicies & processes and continually review and update as and when required
- Support the Director of IT withbudget management
- Day to day management ofEngineers and an IT Administrator, ensuring the group receive the technicalsupport within agreed SLAs
- Ability to analyse and identifyissues to ensure technical issues are resolved swiftly
- Design robust and securenetwork topologies
- Lead on any hotel acquisitionsor rebrands where IT changes are required
- Work with the wider centralsupport team on any new software, platforms, or technology to ensure a smoothintegration within their department
- Present any new recommendationsto senior stakeholders
- Design and implement the groupsecurity strategy as well as processes for new users & leavers
- Complete regular networkpenetration testing, vulnerability assessments and group audits
- Manage Cyber insurance policiesand renewals
- Attend hotels and officelocations to train teams on best practices
- Keep up to date on upcoming AIand IT technology
Is this the role for me?
- Strong leadership experience
- Have a broad IT generalistbackground
- Knowledge of IT risks andcontrol standards (e.g. Cyber Essentials)
- Experience of leading,implementing and managing cyber security and general IT programmes
- Commercial and technicalunderstanding of information security frameworks and systems including but notlimited to Office 365, Citrix, Sophos, Firewalls and WAN routing
- Experience of internal andexternal stakeholder management
- Ability to translate technicalissues into business terms
- Project management experience
- Budget management
- Problem solving skills
- Excellent communication andreport writing skills
- Possess excellent training andpresentation skills
- Ability to work in afast-paced environment
