ISP Product Director – AI & Learning Platform
Role Profile
Purpose of the role
The Product Director leads the strategic development of ISP’s technology-enabled learning ecosystem, ensuring that digital tools, AI capabilities and learning platforms work together to improve teaching and learning across ISP’s global school network.
Job Description
The role owns and maintains the end-to-end vision, strategy and execution of ISP’s AI-enabled learning ecosystem, ensuring alignment between product innovation, school-level implementation, learning improvement strategy and organisational capability.
The role is responsible for designing and delivering an integrated platform that supports teachers, learners and school leaders, combining learning design tools, classroom technologies, data systems and emerging AI capabilities into a coherent experience.
The role leads two senior functions, EdTech & AI (Product) and EdTech Embedding & Change, ultimately overseeing a team of c. 15 FTE. This role is also part of the Learning & Innovation Senior Leadership Team.

Location: UK Remote (Travel required)
ISP Key Responsibilities
Maintain and further refine ISP’s Digital Learning Vision
- Defining the long-term vision for ISP’s digital learning ecosystem
- Ensuring alignment with ISP’s Learning Improvement Process
- Ensuring technology meaningfully improves teaching quality and learner outcomes
- Ensuring responsible and ethical use of AI within learning systems
Align product development with school needs
- Ensuring product development reflects the needs of ISP schools and teachers
- Maintaining strong feedback loops between schools and product teams
- Balancing innovation with practicality and implementation feasibility
- Ensuring technology solutions support learning improvement priorities
Oversee product delivery & school adoption
- Overseeing the design and delivery of ISP’s EdTech and AI tools for learning
- Ensuring strong adoption and effective use across schools
- Supporting capability building among teachers and school leaders
- Resolving strategic tensions between product innovation and implementation
Executive Leadership & Investment Strategy
- Advising on strategic investment in digital learning platforms
- Ensuring alignment between technology strategy and learning strategy
- Support long-term capability development in technology-enabled learning
- Representing ISP externally on technology and innovation in education
Position ISP as a Global Leader in AI Learning
- Building strategic partnerships with technology providers
- Engaging with global AI and EdTech ecosystems
- Establishing ISP thought leadership in AI-enabled education
Qualifications And Experience
- Executive leadership experience in AI, EdTech or digital transformation
- Experience leading large-scale organisational transformation
- Strong credibility with education leaders and teachers
- Ability to translate technology innovation into classroom impact
- Strong financial and strategic leadership capability
- Curiosity about emerging technologies and their application to learning
- Experience operating with Executive or Board-level stakeholders
